Chapter 2 (Part 2)

I was finding my feet at my new home. I was playing in the garden when I noticed something strange from the corner of my eye. There was something strange hanging on the wall within my reach. It was on a water outlet, I walked up to see what it was and I thought that it looked just like a toy. So I grabbed it, the thing felt soft and squashy every time I chewed it rebounded, this was fun. Then I spotted another exactly the same, brilliant now I had two! Quickly I ran and got the other one. I had fun throwing them up and catching them for ages until Lynda came outside to see what I was doing. I got shouted at again, she put them back where I had got them from, and I ran sulking back to my house. It did not matter to me whether I was supposed to have them or not. I got them again, these where so much fun to play with. Time and time again I got told off but I could not help it. In the end they took them away from me and put them someplace where I could not get to them. I needed something to chew on; I saw at the top of the garden there was a thing with lots of plastic tube coiled around it. I knew water came out of the end because they used one of these to give me a bath when I first got here, as I do not like water. I had an idea; if I chewed this enough I could stop the water from coming out, then they could not bath me. I took me ages to chew through the end after I had finished my alteration I stood back to admire my work. I thought that I had done a good job! No I got shouted at again when they saw it, I did not avoid getting a bath either they got another one out of the garage and hung it on the wall where I could not reach it.

Shaun went out early, I have no idea where he was going but I wanted to go with him, well I always want to go with them wherever they go. The gates closed I started barking and crying hoping that he would change his mind and take me with him. Unfortunately he could not hear me, so I heaved my way through the openings of the gate as I did before and this time he was not getting away from me, I ran as fast as could. I found him just up the road at a different house. I squeezed myself through their gates as well and barked for Shaun. He came out and started laughing at me and shaking his head. The other people also came out, now I had the attention of three people, all stroking me at the same time. Sheer bliss!! What came next was unexpected; he opened the car door and told me to get in. I jumped in I did not need telling twice. My luck was in I am going with him! He got in and we set off I was in my element sat next to one of my favourite humans. It was not fair though he took me back home.
